Disable the ADODB.Stream object from Internet Explorer

Hi all -

Have any of you seen this latest Microsoft security alert or applied it to your Windows clients? Our domain is planning to deploy to all workstations asap and I haven't had an opportunity to test impact on Unity web applications (ciscopca). Since the media master controls are ActiveX, I'm wondering what, if any, impact there will be? For example, saving greetings to one's hard drive. Here's the link that was just emailed to us.

Any information on Unity impact or otherwise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

I did a search of the source code and we do not use ADODB.Stream in 4.0(4). I didn't search pervious versions but it is super unlikely that we ever used it. It should be safe to apply the patch.

Hi Keith -

Thanks so much for checking :-) I have since tested 4.0(3) with the patch applied to my own workstation and it is working just fine (SA and ciscopca). Copy to and paste from also tested with no errors!
