HI All
Thanks All in Advance !!!
I am new to Cisco VoIP technology and I am working on changing a distributed deployment scenario to Centralised deployment.
As far as mu understanding is concerned, Ie need to change the source address of the IP Phones from the CME to CUCM to make the phone registered on Call Manager . What other steps do I need to make it a centralised deployment ?
PFA a sample configuration of the CME site and please let me know what changes needs to be done to make it centralised from distributed environment.
Regards

Hi Aakash,
Dial peers are needed if the sites are configured for SRST or if the gateway is used for calls to PSTN or another cluster. If the phones on these sites are registered with same cucm cluster then they can call each other directly without the need for any dial peers.

Hi Aakash,
You will broadly need to look into the following points :
1. Create dial plan on cucm ( route patterns , translation patterns etc ) for outgoing and incoming calls.
2. Assign right gateways to route patterns and make sure dial peers are configured on routers for call processing.
3. Assign media resources like mtp , transcoder , cfb appropriately to the devices ( phones, gateways , trunks etc ).
4. Check if you have appropriate licenses for all users and devices.
