I have the follow scenario:
1 PBX connected to the PSTN trough 1 link E1, and also connect to Public IP Network using one gateway card with 16 channels, H.323 is the protocol utilized and G.729 the codec, all branch offices are connected by 1 gateway H.323, I have all gateways and PBX connected to Public IP Network. The problem is when some call came from PSTN trough E1 link to the PBX and the destination is a gateway, then after a period the call is dropped and a fast busy tone is heard. Collecting the packets with sniffer (Wireshark) I got one packet coming from gateway with a message H.323 RELEASE COMPLETE and the cause is TEMPORARY FAILURE (41).
This problems dropped few calls, not all but still occurring everyday. I'm thinking that is problem of delay, latency, what you could think that could be?
I have 2Mbps at the Central Office and 512K at the branch offices, I know that there are bandwidth to it but I get some delays during the day.
I'm some confusing if I'm right.
What can i do to solve this kind problem?
Thanks.
