Is that any possibility to have an automated email sent whenever someone dials 911 from their desk phone. If yes, can some one guide me the configuration for that in CUCM.

Hey Thiyagarajansekar,
The Cisco option would be to purchase a Cisco Emergency responder, which has the ability to provide the location within the building to the 911 center/PSAP. In addition to providing the location info, it will also generate email alerts.
There are also 3rd party apps, such as Syn-Apps
http://www.syn-apps.com/products/call-alert/
or Singlewire:
https://www.singlewire.com/informacast-callaware.html
I haven't heard of a way to provide a notification without a separate app.
If there is another way, maybe someone else will chime in with another option.
Hope this helps,

Hi Charles,
Thanks for the update. We are using Cisco Emergency Responder for this configuration and it worked.

Hello,
Just to add to Charles answer, depending on if you are running an H.323 gateway. You could also implement a TCL script that when triggered based on the 911 (emergency number) dial peer being used could then send an email alert based on the configuration within the script.
Hope this helps
