Problem implementing Spanish language on Unity ver10.5

Level 2

On a new CUCM ver 10.5 system, we installed Unity Connection 10.5.1.10000-7 on HA scheme ( one Pub and one Subs)

When we are allways ready to migrate, our customer is requiring to change language of Unity prompts ( like "wait while I transfer your call") from default English to Spanish.

We donwloaded and installed "uc-locale-es_CO-10.5.2.1-1.cop.sgn" on both Unity servers following procedure here: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/10x/install_upgrade/guide/10xcuciumgx/10xcuciumg050.html#pgfId-745912

But after we installed on both servers, we don't have access to the spanish language.

When we connect via ssh and run "show cuc locale" we see the installed file.

When we go to "System--> General Configuration" or try to change any user's greeting... we Only got default "english (UnitedStates)" language.

Did we miss another procedure to properly activate Spanish as an addtional option??? How we can change prompts language?

Thanks a lot for you help.

Hi Enrique,

I believe the locale files that you used (uc-locale-es_CO-10.5.2.1-1.cop.sgn) are only to be used on Unity Connection 10.5.2 versions and not 10.5.1 versions as you are running. The proper files for 10.5.1 would be:

uc-locale-ca_ES-10.5.0.1-1.cop.sgn

You would need to uninstall the 10.5.2 locale version and the re-install using the proper version.

Cheers!

Rob
