We need to empty the inbox of our Undeliverable Messages account for unity, but every time we try there are problems. First we tried using the Personal Communications Assistant, but the session always timed out before the inbox could load. So, we then tried loading the account via email, but again it would time out. In unity it shows that there is just under 149,000 messages in the inbox. We decided to try the PCA again, and finally got into the inbox, but it throws a message saying that we must first delete some messages before sending/receiving any new messages. When we look at the inbox though it says no messages. No matter where we go in the PCA we cannot see any messages, but it throws errors saying that we must delete messages.
is there another way, perhaps from the cmd line, to empty a specific inbox?

you might be able to delete them in exchange.

You can use OWA (outlook web access). Either on the mailstore server or from a machine on the same domain as the mailstore server, you can do this. Open IE and type http://mailservername/exchange/username and then login with the user's username and password when prompted. This should present you with an interface that looks much like Outlook. Then you can look in the folders and delete anything you find out of there.
