Encrypted Sip calls

I have a cube device 4300 series and need to configure for encrypted calls (signaling and media). I believe I need to add the sec license SL-4330-SEC-K9 to be able to do media and signaling encryption?

I did see a doc that said you only needed the sec license if you have the IOS with NPE, which doesn't make sense to me.

My IOS is the isr4XXX-universalk9.X.X.X.SPA.bin, not the NPE version

From what I know you’ll need to have the security license. That’s anyway what we’d had to have when we’re where evaluating an integration with Direct Routing between Microsoft Teams and CM end of last year.
