Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Alternative Configuration Fields

Hello,

I am working on configuring some CP840 WebEx phones using this website: https://configure.cisco.com/qr

CUCM version 11.5, in the Device page at the bottom EMM Alternative Configuration and EMM Alternative Configuration Encryption Key fields are not present. Is this only supported in later versions of CUCM or did I miss something during device/sip initial configuration.

Attached a screenshot with the fields. I searched the web and this forum but was not able to find any information. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

It’s not because it was released a month after the CUCM build you upgraded to was released. The readme for it says that a database update for the 840/860 is included - and the 1.5(0) firmware release notes included in that device pack calls out EMM as a new feature.

You need to install the device pack, flip the Device Default back to the 1.8 firmware, and then reboot the CUCM cluster.

Have you installed the latest available Device Pack? Those sort of changes require a SQL update that this only in Device Packs, not individual firmware packages. Note that these require a full cluster restart afterward.

Hello Jonathan and thank you for the reply!! The last two things we installed on CUCM was upgrade to version 11.5.1.23900-30, and the 1.8 firmware for the 840s . How would I look to see if the device package is installed? (thank you for the download link too!)
