I went through and upgraded Unity from 4.0(4) to 4.0(5). Now, I keep getting errors on the Administration web page; I keep getting an error "an unrecognized error 0x800401E4 has occurred; invalid syntax " whenever I try to add a new user or import one from the existing Exchange partner server. I believe there might be an issue with the IIS, but I am not sure.

What error do you get in the Application log while trying to add the user?
Try the following:
1. Run the Permissions Wizard on the OU (Organization Unit or folder)
that you will import users from. The Permissions Wizard is in the
Tools Depot.
2. The user account in Active Directory has to have inherited permissions
from the OU:
a) Go to Active Directory Users and Computers.
b) Select View > Advanced Features in order to see the Security tab in
the account properties.
c) Go to the OU and double-click on the user account to bring up the
Properties page.
d) Click the Security tab.
e) Make sure that the Allow inheritable permissions from parent to propagate
to this object checkbox is checked.

Thanks! Once this was run again, it was ok. Apparently, at the time I was doing the upgrade, the Exchange admins were patching and one of those patches has had problems in accounts that access the server. Once the permissions wizard was run, however, it started working fine.
