Is it possible for an external caller to be prompted to enter the voicemail box that they would like to be transferred to, regardless if the person is at their desk?
We have two buildings, one of which has nortel phones and the other has CCM. I'd like the operator at the nortel building to be able to transfer calls directly into the Unity voicemail at the CCM site.
I know you can have the caller input an extension, via caller system transfer or subscriber system transfer... but that does not seem to be able to accomplish this.

From the main auto attendant greeting, you can enter the mailbox number followed by #2 to go straight to the mailbox greeting.
The operator could press transfer, dial the VM pilot, wait for main greeting, dial XXX#2 and complete the transfer.

Thanks, both of your replies were very helpful. Didn't know about that extension#2 trick either!
