Freeing up some disk space on the Exchange

Hi, I am sort of assigned to Free up some Exchange Disk space. I converted and archived a few inactive mailboxes with the help of a tool i found googling then i deleted those mailboxes. There were like 210 mailboxes in all that got moved to deleted items, i even used a script to flush items from the deleted items folder.

But the weird thing is even after doing all this there seems to be no reductions in the disk space usage. The MBX partition free space seems to be unaffected by mailbox deletions. Can anybody shed some light as to why this is happening?

I don’t understand why you’re asking this on a Cisco forum; Microsoft Exchange is not a Cisco product.
