Hi ,

regarding to install CISCO unified Mobility Advantage 7 on VMware worksration 7

I tried to install CUMA 7.1

specfication in VMware

Mem 1024, Hard 120G IDE, 2 Processor, Network bridged

and I already add the name & ip for CUMA server in domain and DNS

and every thing is ok in installation setup untill check for network and DNS

Always gave me error tha

" Primary DNS server name/address is invalid or DNS server is not responding ... "

Plz can any one tell me , what is the problem ?

I'd start with trying to match the hardware specs of one of the supported platforms (MCS-7825-I3 for example): http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuma/CUMA_CUMC_Compatibility_Matrix.html#wp42076. The message sounds like a DNS issue I would try a packet capture before this error appears to see if any queries are actually going out to the DNS server or not.
