Integrating latest version of Unity with Ericsson MD-110

I have setup Unity to CallManager but I need to verify some items with Ericsson integration. I know that I need a voice card but what exactly are the ports used for? I see 4, 12 and 23 port models and of course the more ports the more they cost. Are there any other things I need to know that may not be documented very well. I have the Ericsson MD-110 Serial Integration Guide and I have read through it.

Thanks for any info you can provide to me.

Each port emulates an analog phone on your PBX. The number of ports you have is the number of simultaneous calls that Unity will be able to handle.

The instalation guide gives a bit more detail on the various voice cards you might use.

And the System Requirements doc lists which voice cards can be used with your PBX,
