Hi everyone,
I am struggling with configuring an E1 line for use with cucm on an an mgcp gateway. I have a BE6000s which I have basically re-used most of the pre-configurations that were there. I have a I port E1 card and an FXO card for my pstn access on my gateway. I have configured mgcp and the all the ports have registered properly. My challenge is I cant make a call out through the E1 line. I have even tried to add dial-peers for the E1 card but I still get a busy signal. i thought with MGCP the CUCM should control everything? I have pasted my config. what Im I missing? Kindly assist. Thanks in advance.

Most likely, use Dialed Number Analyzer in CUCM to see how the call is routed from CUCM perspective.
09-02-2016 05:10 AM
Yes, with MGCP the full dial plan is configured on CUCM. Can you post "debug isdn q931" for the non-working call along with "debug voice ccapi inout"? This will show us if the call is even making it to the GW and then PRI.

thank you for the reply. I have no output on the debugs. does that mean my problem is on the cucm? but my E1 card is registered.

Verify the partition assigned to the DNs is listed in the CSS referenced by the PRI port.
