Jabber 10.5 SSO with CA SiteMinder

Dear All,

CA SiteMinder is the current default SSO method in ne of client environment, based on Cisco URL below, CA SiteMinder is supported in Jabber 9.7 but removed for Jabber 10.6.

Cisco URLs: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/Windows/9_7/JABW_BK_C4C679C9_00_cisco-jabber-for-windows-97/JABW_BK_C4C679C9_00_cisco-jabber-for-windows-97_chapter_0100.html

What is needed for UCS SSO to work e.g. SAML 2.0 ? In this case, is it a case of "cannot work" or "not supported"?

could you please any one advise,  CUCM/Jabber 10.5(1) can support SSO with CA SiteMinder ?

thanks in advance!!

regards,

Naveen

The SAML SSO feature requires the following software components:

1. Cisco Unified Communications applications, release 10.0(1) or later.
2. An LDAP server that is trusted by the IdP server and supported by Cisco Unified Communications applications.
3. A supported IdP server that complies with SAML 2.0 standard.

Cisco Unified Communications SAML SSO feature has been tested with the following IdPs:

>> Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) version 2.0
>> Open Access Manager (OpenAM) version 10.0
>> PingFederate version 6.10.0.4

More details are provided here

If you use CA Siteminder the solution may work but will not be Cisco supported in case of any issues with the setup.
