Hi,
I have lab CUCM and "Jabber for Desktop" client, i am trying to connect from desktop jabber client to Callmanager.
Authentication from desktop client to callmanager is successful but it can't able to register csf device on callmanager.
I have created CSF device and associatated to user.
Any services need to be enable from callmanager side? because i can able to connect from hard phones to callmanager and can able to make calls.
But samething is not happening with jabber client.
Please suggest me any configurations needed on callmanager side for jabber client?

Are you using Jabber in phone mode only? By default Jabber will authenticate with IMP server not CUCM, the only way to use Jabber with CUCM only is to run it in phone mode.

other question : Is the jabber client must be in the same domain as the CUCM

Latest version of Jabber i.e. 9.6 allows you simply to change the "select your account type" to "Cisco Communications Manager (phone capabilities only)" setting right from the Manual setup and sign-in link on Jabber login screen, previous versions required passing switch during the install.
