I have unity 4.04 in 2 sites. Both are licensed for license pooling but only one of the servers is showing both or the servers in the Subscriber mailboxes under license pool. The server that is not showing the other server has an error under the alerts area that states "Stale license data excluded from pool"
It was working before the other day and now it stopped. Any ideas?

Hi -
Is the AvLic service running OK on the server? If so, you can try this from the Unity Licensing FAQs - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_qanda_item09186a0080094ce5.shtml#newq3
Some of the servers are not seen in the license pooling due to the synchronization between Active Directory and the Unity server. Run DOHProptest tool from \commserver\techtools\DOHProptest.exe in order to resolve this.
1. Press OK and Ignore in order to bypass the password.
2. Click AD monitor, do a Total Resync and close the window.
3. Click GC Monitor and do a Total Resync.
Hope that helps! Sincerely,
Ginger

Can DOHProptest.exe be ran during production hours?

Hi -
Yes, it can be run during production hours. It does cause replication to occur between the Unity database and AD/GC. I've run this on a server with 700+ subscribers during the day with no ill affect. However, if you are concerned, you can always run this after your peak hours.
