Management Subnet for CUCM 7.1.2

I have  MCS7835I2  platform with CUCM 7.1.2., - my security group requires a seperate management subnet/Vlan apart from the Voice subnet. I can find no option to configure a management subnet or configure what appears to be an Ethernet Management port on the back of the server.  How would I go about configuring a second management subnet? Thanks

You can set up the built in IBM Remote Supervisor card to provide remote console access for CLI management, but there is no support for putting the GUI management piece (which you must use) on a separate VLAN.  The product does not support this.

If this is a requirement your security people have, then they are going to have an issue.  Moving the interface to a management VLAN would bring all the voice and control traffic over there as well.  Additionally, the same instance provides access to the CCMUser interface as well as the CCMAdmin interface.

in this case, their stated policy is not supportable.  Beyond that, it's going to be a management call within your organization on how to deal with this.  These are Linux appliances, but they are still servers.

The MCS-7835-I2 should have a specific RSA( Remote Supervisor Adapter)  interface. This is a separate LAN interface you can connect and configure for Out of Band Management of the server.
