Hi Folks, I have mediasense deployed and it is working fine with recording calls OK and archiving those calls off to a seperate SFTP server. We can see those calls on the SFTP server when we log inot that server but we cannot use the search a play feature within Mediasense to search for and play the calls that have been archoived off - I use the same extension number within the "on-box" and archived calls but when I want to search the archived calls, I get an error "Your search request is invalid or contains bad syntax or cannot be fulfilled". Am I doing something wrong, is there a bette way of searching archived calls?
Thanks

Hi Paul
Did you Enable Search on Archived Call Recordings?
From the User Guide:
With the Archival feature, the recordings are archived on a remote SFTP server and may not be available locally. MediaSense Search and Play provides the ability to search these archived recordings stored on the remote SFTP server using the Archive Calls tab. To enable archive search in MediaSense Search and Play, check the Enable Search on Archived Recordings check box in the MediaSense Archive Configuration screen. For more information, see Archival. You can search for all the archived recordings except associated sessions. Currently, you can search the archived records by session ID, participant ID, and date range only.
Thanks

What version of MS are you running?

version 11.0.1.10000-103
One other thing I have noticed is that in the Archive Configuration area, there is a SSH configuration field. By default this is the same user credentials as the SFTP Location Configuration area - when I go to Test SSH, I get a "Path does not exist" error message. There is no path firld to check and the above SFTP Test SFTP check passes OK.
Thanks

Unfortunately we are only running MediaSense as an Eval at the moment and are not archiving calls so my help is limited, maybe somebody else will come along.
If you have configured as per the guide and its not doing what is expected, I would log a ticket with TAC next.
Thanks

Click the Test SSH text box to authenticate the SSH connection and the following actions:
Ability to perform SSH on the specified server using the given credentials. Existence of the specified path name on the server.
Read access to the user for the specified path.
Ability to run the grep command on the specified server.
On successful authentication, this message appears in the window.
Connection successful.

System Version: 11.0.1.10000-10
i also cannot search archived recordings. Media Sense archived some files automatically. So the SFTP portion of the configuration seems to be okay. If i press the "Test SSH" button, the user was acceptet by the SFTP-Server and the browser is loading and loading with no success.
I use the Core FTP-Server (free version). I tried to use a certificate, wich is signed from our ROOT-CA, on Core FTP server, also with no success.
"Enable Search on Archived Recordings" is enabled (you cannot search without it).
Can anyone provide some screenshot for a valid configuration or a short guideance, please?
