MPE 2.1.1.2,  new install.

DNS works, however when I go to http://mpe.domain.com:8080  it keeps dropping the :8080 off the end and then it doesn't work.

anyone else seen this?

What you see when you try IP ?

try this http://mpe.domain.com/public/attendMeetings.jsf.

Domin;

Page can not be displayed (aka, nothing).   Tried that with hostname and IP..

Seems like nothing on :80 works...   Must be 8080

Please check the firewall configuration...

If you are using SMA then check the following also

Firewall

Port Configuration

Between Intranet and DMZ

Outgoing 22 to DMZ for system communication

Outgoing 4443 to DMZ for system communication

Outgoing 80, 1935 (443 if SSL is used) for end users accessing the secondary server from the Intranet

Firewall

Port Configuration

Between DMZ and Internet

Incoming 80 for end users accessing the secondary server from the Internet via HTTP

Incoming 1935 (Optional, but recommended for more efficient web performance)

Incoming 443 for end users accessing the secondary server from the Internet via HTTPS

Hi -

Something else to check.  In the address field, enter http://ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd, where ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd is the IP address of port 1 (eth0) that you entered when configuring the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express server.  The browser should display the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express application Attend page.  In DNS you can create a CNAME record for your MPE Eth0 address.  For example, mpxsystem could be used as the alias and your users would then enter http://mpxsystem to reach the Attend page.  And one last thing, the port 8080 may be used by something else on the MPE server.

Going to the IP Address - doesn't work on port 80.
