MeetingPlace version 2.1.1.2 with UK language pack installed. Usage configuration has the Language 1 set to English(UK).

When calling into meetingplace, callers hear the english US "welcome to..". Where is the setting to change this to English (UK)?

Hi -

Check your User Group Management - Group Information config and see what Language is specified here. This is also configurable on the User profile option for a user.
