HI guys,
we have a CUCM Cluster 10.5 and we would like to migrate to an existing and operational CUCM 11 Cluster. Can the PCD (Prime Collablration Deployment) tool be used for this? Or PCD can only be used to migrate to a new cluster?
CUCM cluster migrations can be done with PCD only on a new server (eg old stand-alone C1 v8.6 again on new standalone C1 v12.5), but not in existing clusters into it (eg merge 2 clusters )?

PCD can only migrate to a blank VM because it will install CUCM/IM&P and then push the config from the source cluster.
So, no, it cannot be used to merge clusters.
You need to use BAT for that purpose.

No PCD can not be used to merge clusters. The reason is the new cluster has an existing database. You would have to many overlapping database issues. Sorry for the bad news.
Best way to map it all out and the changes if there are alot of them.
