Messages periodically being delivered to wrong mailboxes

Running Unity 4.1.1 in a dual integrated CM 4.3 /Avaya G3R V11.5 with an off box Exchange 2003 cluster. What we are experiencing (and this is very intermittent as it has only happened 4 or 5 times that we know of) is messages are going to the correct subscribers greeting, then being delivered to the wrong e-mail account. These messages seem to come from the same subscribers and go to the same wrong e-mail accounts. Has anyone seen this before. It almost seems as if the file that Unity is transferring to Exchange is being read wrong. If we try to reproduce this, we have no luck. Seems to be very select circumstances that must cause this. Any ideas how to track the root cause so that we might be able to fix it?

Thanks!

Paul

Hi Paul -

The best way I know to track this is to use Message Tracking on the Exchange server, using Exchange System Manager MMC. By selecting recipient and mail server(s) and selecting a date range, you can see the voice messagess being delivered to the user's inbox. Also, since this is an offbox message store, could someone else be administratively changing the recipient on a user's mailbox (this can be done on the user's user account in Active Directory Users and Computers).
