Hi,
Have issue where customer has a lot users to migrate to different exchange account on same exchange 5.5 server. Unity 4.03. The user has one windows account but 2 exchange accounts w/exchage 5.5. One for email and voice mail. Customer is migrating unity subscribers so the exchange account is same account for email so they have one account for both.
Customer has MSD 1.1.80 installed, and when migrating users the sync process on exit of MSD doesn't seem to work nor does the File -> Sync seem to work. Running the unity setup -sync manually from command line works however while logged in with same windows account on Unity server.
Has anyone seen where the sync on exit or file -> sync doesn't work?

hmmm... that's odd. Sean is out on PTO (that's his tool) but I can take a look a little later.
It _should_ be using the same interface to kick off a synch as you call manually - do any errors (or anything at all) show up in the SQLSyncSvrxxx.log file in the \commserver\log directory?

I will have customer check that log. Thanks for the info.
Also, after they migrate user the MWI and message waiting prompt is not working. I have them change MWI extension from X to the users extension and that fixes MWI issue but I need to get more info on the message waiting prompt issue after the migrate is done. The MWI and message waiting prompt issue is there after sync process and before.
Is there a way to get a setup/executable that I can give customer of the current versin of MSD? The 1.1.65 on the web page is a older version.

I din't know what you mean by "message waiting prompt" - you mean a notification device dialout?
I just posted version 1.1.80 here:

Jeff, Thanks. I will have them install the full version tomorrow and see if it resolves the issues we are seeing.

Hi.
Customer downloaded that from website, but it is the 1.1.65 version still and now back to original issue had with 1.1.65 where the mail users are not displayed.
What to do next?

With a full install of 1.1.80 version of MSD, we have same issue. We are getting the SQL log from this attempt.
Running C:\CommServer\ConfigurationSetup\Setup.exe -sync fixes the issue.
Then the MWI is still broken. That seems to be an easy fix though. I found
all I have to do is change the x to the extension and hit refresh status
then save. It reverts back to the X but it works.
Next major problem is that not all of the non-subscribers are listed on the
right. They are on the same server as everyone else but are not listed for
some reason. Hence I cannot migrate them.

still waiting for the SQLSync logs... without those I can do nothing at all for you...
