Migration UC

Hi,

I need to migrate from the following:

- CUCM 9.0 to 11.x

- Cisco Unity 4.x to Cisco Unity Connection 11.x

- Cisco Contact Center Express 5.0 to 11.x

I have read some forums for CUCM and basically all send us to follow Migration to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 11.0(1) Using Prime Collaboration Deployment but I have not found any for other platforms.

Could you help on what are the migration step by step on each one?

For Unity, you will need to use COBRAS, the CUC upgrade documentation covers the migration from Unity to CUC, if you have not reviewed, you need to.

For CUCM, if you do not want to use PCD, you would need to DRS restore on the new server using the same version you're running right now, then upgrade. You would need to reach the RN and upgrade guide for CUCM 11.5 to understand the whole procedure.

It's extremely important that you thoroughly review the documentation to understand the process. pre-reqs, and post-upgrade changes that might be required.

What about Contact Center. Is there any guide to migrate and upgrade from 5.0 to 11.x

It will be a multi step upgrade for UCCX, first you need to get to  7.0(2)ES03, then to a 9.x and followed by 11.x
