Hi,
I have a question about the missed call status message on Cisco 7962 phones connected to Call Manager 8. The problem is if a user is on a call and gets a missed call on their phone the status message displays "1 New Missed Call". The problem is when the user hangs up on the call the missed call is no longer displayed on the phone (although its in the missed call section in the directory) and the user forgets that they had a missed call as its no longer displayed.
Is there a way to keep that status message up on the phone until they go in and check the missed call?

This is working as design and no workaround present at this time.
