I am working on a OCS project in RCC mode and I had to create many applications dial rules to manipulate number dial or click to call from the MOC. This customer has CUCM rel. 7 and already has Mobile Connect users (sim ring / Remote Destination Profile). During the testing period one user complained that his sim ring does not work anymore. After troubleshoot the problem, I discovered that Sim Ring uses application dial rules first and then the routing plan look for the closest match.
I tried to find this information written somewhere in the Cisco technical documentation and I did not find anything. Does somebody know something about that ? Is it a normal behavior of the sim ring to use application dial rules first or could it be a bug ?
