I have a customer with a centralized call processing model, without site to site dialing. As a result, they have duplicate extensions throughout the enterprise. How can I configure the Unity to light the correct MWI when there are more than one instance of a particular phone? Thanks

Make sure you've enabled the multiple tenant MWI service parameter on Call Manager. Here's an excerpt from the Unity-CallManager Integration guide(s): "When this parameter is set to True, Cisco CallManager uses any configured translation patterns to convert voice mail extensions into directory numbers when turning on or off an MWI."

Unity doesn't support overlapping extensions on a single server. You will need to manipulate the DNs so they are not overlapping within Unity using translation patterns on CallManager.

Can you elaborate on that? I have been trying to use translation patterns but I'm not sure I know where they apply. For example, I have two extension 2201's. I gave one another extension(in Unity MWI configuration) and translated it, it works, but the MWI is not working.
