Need to know if we can reuse existing Polycom SIP Handsets with a Cisco Solution

We have a hosted SIP based IP PBX at one of our sites.   It is not working out.  We have invested in a number of Polycom IP501 and IP601 SIP Handsets.  My question is can these phones be used with a Cisco Telephony Solution so we can retain our investment in the handsets and not have to forklift them out and replace with all new handsets.

Cisco CCM 5 and above supports 3rd party handsets through SIP. YMMV sometimes based on the SIP messages being exchanged with vendors. See thread

Looks like some have had success. There is also 3rd party site called TEKVIZION that can do the testing and certify. They have tested Polycom and other vendors but not this specific one within Polycom from the looks of it
