Have some questions/concerns regarding Nortel CS1000 on Rls 4.5 integrating to Meeting Place via H.323 (sip not an option on Nortel side). Nortel call would come into CUCM via H.323 and CUCM would tandem call back out SIP trunk pointed to Meeting Place 8.0 with EMS server.
Have concerned about DTMF Pass Relay. See link above for integration note and limitation on DTMF. Document is somwhat outdated and curious if anybody knows if this is still a limitation or a possible workaround.
Thank you

Hi. I have integrated a Nortel PBX with CUCM 6.1.2 system and the DTMF tones were passed to MP just find. Sorry but I do not remember the model of the Notrel PBX.
For MP 8 you will need CUCM 6.1.2 or greater. MP 8 will not work with any earlier versions. You would program the Nortel to send H.323 to CUCM and CUCM would convert that to SIP to pass the call to MP.
Let me know if you have any questions.
