Open source OS, for CUCM SFTP Backup

Hi Experts, seeking suggestion on DRS. If the customer is not willing to provide a dedicated sftp location, is there any recommended or verified open source OS which can be used as sftp server, to be installed on BE6K ? 

(assuming solution consists of multiple BE6K servers and hw resources are not fully utilized)

I normally use Windows server and FreeFTPd as the SFTP server.

Then you'd be restricted to only products from the SPP list as you're planning to install it on the 6K server.

Locating your backup destination on the same BE6k server as the cluster being backed up seems like a REALLY bad idea.

Also, there are only three SFTP applications supported by Cisco. Before you roll your eyes at it: I have seen a customer burnt by using something else. The backups were being corrupted during upload but DRS was marking the backup a success.

Hi there, the solution has multiple UC servers, notice that PCD is listed as one of the option.

Can I use PCD as DRS sftp server for CUCM ?
