I have an ASA5500 set up for phone VPN. The AnyConnect VPN is setup and it working, I can connect to it with an AnyConnect client. The VPN is set up in the CUCM and the phone has the correct profile that has the VPN configuration in it. I am using certificate authentication.
When I try to connect the phone it does not connect, the issue, as far as I can tell from the logs is because the phone is looking for this URL..
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v1/url?u=https://X.X.X.X/SSL&k=%2FbkpAUdJWZuiTILCq%2FFnQg%3D%3D%0A&r=5ht%2FmKUxdNHRrPcKQDsTAlUUIZq9q%2Bg3dNBEuMP1kJc%3D%0A&m=7pykc2d1qRooBqHEx8i6vHSHvhM8Jn03OwGI4oLxsto%3D%0A&s=29cf6c91eda8b20fe62f5051ed114887063712a...
The URL I have configured in the VPN configuration is https://X.X.X.X/SSL, so how does this proofpoint nonsense get in there? My customer claims that they have no content filtering agreement with Proofpoint, they have never heard of them. Cisco TAC seems befuddled by this as well, I am posting this in hopes that someone has seen this before and knows how to fix it.
