I'm experiencing a strange problem which is likely stemming from my lack of understanding how Prime is able to create accounts in Cisco Unity Connection Administration.
After changing the admin password for CUCA(ver. 11.5) (it had expired) I began getting authentication errors in Prime when attempting to provision services in Prime(ver. 11.2) for new users. As far as I can tell the user is created in Prime just fine but does not exist in CUCA.
Is there somewhere in Prime that I'm supposed to enter the CUCA password and keep it up to date or perhaps some kind of sync I'm supposed to do after making a change like this?
The error I'm getting is a bit of a monster but I can certainly post it, if it would help.
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi,
i guess you're aware of the "Managing Devices in Prime Collaboration Provisioning" part where you need to update the credentials if changed in CUCN.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/prime/collaboration/11-6/provisioning/guide/cpco_b_cisco-prime-collaboration-provisioning-guide-11-6/Cisco_Prime_Collaboration_Provisioning_Guide_11_6_chapter_011.html
on the other hand i believe PCP 11.2 does support CUCN 11.5:
http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Supported_Devices_for_Cisco_Prime_Collaboration_Provisioning_11.1_and_11.2
If you have verified the credentials i would go for a TAC service request.

I wouldn't go so far as to assume I'm aware of anything...
I did find where I needed to update the credentials in the device setup menu though, thanks for that!
Now I have a unity connection infrastructure sync that has been running for >12 hours and appears to be making absolutely no progress. Sorry for moving the goalposts on you here but do you have any clever ideas about how I can resolve that?
I checked some docs and they all suggested ensuring that the NICE service is running, and if not to start it but it has been running the whole time.
