Pull assigned DNs via SQL?

Hi all,

My manager has asked me to help with some automation projects here.  One of these is to try to find a way to pull DNs that are currently in use (or, just valid DNs would probably work) via a script.  I know there's a way to pull information programmatically, as some other apps we have here do that, but I haven't the foggiest how to proceed.  Can someone give me a push in the right direction?

And how would you determine that a phone is valid?

The numplan table has all the DNs configured (and I do mean ALL) dnORpattern is the field you would need to look at.
