Query on H.323

Hello All,

We have a h.323 gateway with 2 PRI's and any call from this PRI is handled by the Dialpeer with its configuration to throw it to the callmanager. We know that when the phones lose their contact with CCM they register with gateway. But will there be any effect when the PRI bounces in H.323 gateway since they terminate locally.

So when the phones register with the gateway the dialpeer should not come in to picture which was throwing its call to CCM. How does the Gateway stops using that dialpeer and understands that phone its there in its database.

SRST creates dial-peers for the phones as they register, that's how it works.

Do a sh dial-peer voice summ while phones are registered and you'll see them

Once phones fallback to CUCM those dial-peers go down and are no longer used.
