I know that it is possible to allow customers to migrate to Unified CMBE 5000 from either stand-alone Unified Communications Manager or Communications Manager Express systems and I have the corresponding upgrade part numbers from the Ordering Guide. But is there an option to migrate and upgrade to a Unified CMBE 6000 as well? If so, where is this documented?

Craig

I know there is a migration from a 5K to 6K....my question was about taking a UCM install straight to 6K without having to go through this intermediary step, which really doesn't solve anything, seeing as the 5K is a 7828 MCS server.

I see your issue. Since there is a special SKU UNIFIED-CMBE6K much like the 5K one needs to buy that. So start with the starter bundle and then add users on top of that using UCL SKU. If they don't have UCSS support you can use 3x3 program.
