"No AXL Remote server ..."

I am receiving the following error when I select "Sync" under users.

Cisco CUC Version 11.5

"No AXL Remote server was found. A Unified Communications Manager is required to synchronize users."

I found some posts that make me think this is a normal error, because we are Syncing with AD LDAP, and not the CUCM server.

Is this the case?

How do I force a sync then?

Is this an actual error I need to chase down?

Field

Description

Find Imported Users

Enter applicable search criteria.

In a Unity Connection configuration, you must also select the Cisco Unified Communications Manager server with the applicable user accounts. Only the Cisco Unified CM servers for which an AXL server is configured appear in the list.

In a Cisco Business Edition configuration, synchronization happens automatically. There should be no need to manually synchronize users.

If you use LDAP, you either wait for the next Sync of the LDAP directory, or force a full sync of the LDAP directory agreement.

If you are not pulling the users from CUCM via AXL, but using a direct LDAP integration, then that's expected.

So how would I force a sync then?

TY!

For others who find this,  I found the Full Sync he is referring to at

System > LDAP > LDAP Directory Configuration > [Find and select] > [scroll to bottom of page] Perform Full Sync now
