Reenable Unity Users for DUC in Domino enviroment

Hi,

Is there a way or Tool to reenable Unity Users integrated in a Domino enviroment without deleting and adding them? We have a few Unity users where the DUC Template was not correctly installed during the creation of the mail account. The Voicemails are sent to the inbox but MWI and a few other things don't work for these users. I discovered that during the adding process of a Domino Users in Unity, a long configuration string is sent to the Domino server.

Is there a Tool from Cisco or IBM or an easy way to reenable such Users, so they are reallly DUC enabled?

Regards, Thomas

Hi Thomas,

users get DUCS enabled during the import process.

When you import them, you will see the following entries in admin4.nsf DB on Domino:

"unrecognized request 5001"

This will also have a response document saying something like "Performed Action on X/X/X"

You could try to re-request the admin4.nsf request for these user so that adminp executes them again.

Once done, check with Notespeek if the Users has been enabled OK.

But chances are slim that this will work.

If it doesn't, you will want to delete the users in question and reimport them.

You can use the following agent to remove the Notes attributes:
