Replacing a Unity server

I'm going to replace the faulty Unity server 4.03 with a new one by using DiRT.

My procedure is as follows:

1)install windows, AD, SQL and Exchange

2)install Unity 4.0(3) with demo license

3)install latest version of Backup software (DiRT)

4)restore the backup data to Unity 4.0(3)

5)install the license registering to cisco

6)upgrade TSP...etc

Is it a correct procedure for a successful recovery of Unity 4.03? and one of my question is that can I restore the backup data to a Demo Unity? or Should I must install the license first and then preform restore?

Licensing is not checked during a DiRT restore so you can license it before or after. It won’t make a difference.

Your process looks fine but make sure you remove the old server from the network before you do the restore.

Thanks,

Keith

The restore is completed successfully with one error.

The version of backup tool is 1.0.258

Some parts of DiRT log is as follows -

Any ideas??

Is it harm to the Unity?

Thanks

No, it's most likely fine - does dbWalker run OK? I think you'll get that error there if you hadn't run the Tools Depot once (it creates a few keys DiRT looks for) - nothing to worry about I don't think.

No error found after dbWalker scan.

Thanks for your help ~
