If a call comes in and goes to an individual extension and then forwards out to a hunt group, is the ring duration that's being shown for the hunt group just limited to the time it spent in ringing in the hunt group or additive of the individual plus the hunt group?

Can you please share details about call flow?

My understanding is that "Maximum Hunt Timer" set on the Hunt Pilot controls the maximum time the call can ring after it's been passed to the Hunt Pilot. Timer on each Line Group controls how long it will ring a given group irrespective of what's already happened to the call.

Hi Tony,
Hopefully, my understanding is correct, the RNA Reversion Timeout set within the line group, is the time that it would ring on each DN that is part of the hunt list. Then after that time has passed say 10 seconds it would then move the call to the next DN until the last number in the group if you have longest idle or top-down, this would be different if set to broadcast as it would ring for 10 seconds on all phone.
So if your call is going to a DN first which has a No answer time of 15 seconds, then a RNA of 10 on the line group, and only the second person is available that call would ring for 25 seconds until it gets answered.
If you have the max hunt timer set on the Pilot number lower than the time it would be going around the hunt group, it is possible the call would never reach all the members.
"Maximum Hunt Timer—Enter a value (in seconds) that specifies the maximum time for hunting without queuing. Valid values specify 1 to 3600. The default value specifies 1800 seconds (30 minutes)."
Hope this helps,
Many thanks
