Running CUCM 7.x production in Vmware environment

One of our client still running callmanager version 7.0. Because limited budget. They want order UCS only.

install CUCM 7.0 in Vmware environment and change the MAC address (copy from Publisher) then input license files.

for now,is it possible ?

Possible, but not supported at all by Cisco, and we will not assist on moving the licenses to a an unsupported deployment, or with anything else.

They will be on their own, or their partner will have to assist in ANY problem they have.

We only support 6.x and 7.x on ESXi when you're doing the jump upgrade procedure, NEVER for production.

You CANNOT, that's the thing, even for the jump upgrade, the procedure is meant to be only a middle step and NEVER run that for production.

Cisco will NOT provide licensing for a not supported environment.
