Setting a User to have access to Administer Unity 7

Hi

I am trying to set a user who is not a unity subscriber to be a unity administrator in Unity 7. I have created the account in activer directory users and computers and made him a member of domain admins, domain users and administrators. When i remote desktop to the unity server and enter his credentials, i get access straight away.

My problem is when i browse to Unity server from a PC on the network, http://10.x.x.x./SAWeb, i am asked to enter my credentials. When i do this, i am unable to access the unity web page.  Looks like i am missing some kind of access for the user to the unity application.Has anyone come accross this before?

Thanks,
Derek

All you really need is to do this:

http://www.netcraftsmen.net/resources/blogs/adding-unity-saweb-administrative-accounts-using-grantunityaccess-and-cos.html?blogger=William+Bell

And the user account can be a domain or local user as long as they belong to the local machine's user group (no admin, etc are required).

This works.  My colleauges and I at NetCraftsmen have used it often.
