Setting VMO options fails authentication

Unity UM 4.0(5) / Exchange 2003.

My 4.0(5) users have installed VMO.

When they enter the Unity server & their phone extension for TRAP, a dialog box titled "Enter Network Password" requests their username/password/domain.

When they use their own username, the dialog box just pops back up immediately.

If I use the UnityInstall account this works succesfully. Obviously, I don't want to give the users the UnityInstall details.

How can I get the subscriber accounts to have the correct perms to install & configure VMO on their workstations ?

Many thanks,

Paul.

Sounds like you are trying to authenticate to your VMO domain.

So it would

Username

Password

VMO Domain

When you are in VMO, and trying to give users access to the webpage, they will need to use most likely different usernames and password. This can be confusing for end users.

Go into the AD domain for VMO and find a subscriber. Reset the password and find out what the Username is. Try to log in with this.
