Hi all.
Sorry i am asking dumb questions or in greater volume, just involved in IPT deployment and getting new requirements. I am using cucm 8.0, is there any way to remove the "new call" after 5:00 pm daily ? so that no one can dial any number from that phone. ( i dont want to use extension mobility right now), kindly let me know is there anyway to do it ?

Not as far has I know, however just removing the soft key wouldn't fix the issue anyway as the user could simply lift the handset and get dial tone anyway
Best way to attack this is to configure time based Patitions. This allows you to control by time of day who has access to the Partitions that control access to external numbers. I've used this in similar situations in the past and it works well. It's pretty easy to configure things so that out of hours users can call internaly and emergency services, yet block access to all other external numbers.
