We have a UC520 installed and we have found that the time of the Unity Express is not synchronising with that of the CCME in the UC520. We have the following configuration:
On Cisco CallManager Express:
configure terminal
ntp master 1
end
On Cisco Unity Express:
configure terminal
ntp server prefer
clock timezone
When we checked the CUE using the command:
show ntp associations
we get the following result:
sh ntp associations
ind assID status conf reach auth condition last_event cnt
===========================================================
1 20236 9014 yes yes none reject reachable 1
Any ideas? Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Chandrasen,
You should replace:
ntp server prefer
with
ntp server x.x.x.x prefer

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I made a mistake in my last post. In fact the command has been properly input.
ntp server x.x.x.x prefer
Evern after reboot of the CUE module, the time shift is still there.
Any other idea?

Hi Chandrasen,
You could be hitting this bug: CSCsu36827
Try updating your IOS to 12.4(20)T2 and that may help.
You may also want to change your ntp source:
ntp source
