Hi all,
due to troubleshooting issue over Unity,
we are looking for a way to follow step by step packets route between a test Ip Phone and Unity itself.
So, is there any workaround to perform a sort of tracert command using phone directly ? In this way could be possible to follow packet route from origin to endpoint.
Thanks in advance
Federico

Not that I have every heard of. I would just trace route from the default-gateway of the phone and source the trace from the same subnet the phone resides in.

get a sniffer trace. that will show you all the traffic to and from the phone

well, sniffer already used..
but you can see only packet with source and destination addresses related to the end-points and not which are the middle-hop between ip phone and Unity.
This is the reason why we are looking for a way to simulate tracert command.

Get laptop connect to port change port access Vlan to voice Vlan and then try to do the tracert .
