Unity 4.0(5) Using EX2003 Upgrade from 4.0(4) with Failover

Since Unity 4.0(5) is new, I can't seem to find an

online document that talks to the upgrade procedure

that talks to upgrading when Failover is present.

Can I upgrade the Unity server pair with Unity on one

4.0(4) server still actively taking calls or do I

take both Unity servers offline before starting? If

I can maintain one of the Unity servers in production

which server (active or backup) should be upgraded

first?

The failover feature cannot be used for continuing Cisco Unity service on one server while upgrading the Cisco Unity software on the other server. Both the primary and secondary servers must be out of service while the Cisco Unity software is upgraded. The secondary server cannot handle voice messaging while the primary server is being upgraded.

The procedure for upgrading failover has not changed with 4.0(5). This link should tell you everything you need to know:
