Hi.

I would like to know the best way in order to integrate a Unity System with a Meridian Option 61C system. The Unity will replace an Octel VM system.

I'm a bit confused with all the different cards and options and I would like to see if you guys have done that integration before and using exactly which cards. Probably with around 12 Ports..

TIA,

-Jose

Jose:

Please look over this doc

Nortel Meridian 1/PBXLink Integration Guide for Cisco Unity 4.0

The section you are looking for is:

Configuration for 24 or Fewer Ports

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_configuration_guide09186a00801171e4.html#wp1033514

Per this doc:

Supported Circuit-Switched Phone System Integrations

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_system_requirements_hardware09186a0080117617.html#wp142947

for Nortel Meridian 1, all voice cards except D/240PCI-T1 are supported.

here is a list of supported cards:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_system_requirements_hardware09186a0080117617.html#wp107980

Finally getting to the point - if you are looking for 12-ports, you can use Intel Dialogic D/120JCT-LS. If you are ordering directly from Intel, you will need to inform them that the sku is D120JCTLSU.

But you can read it all for yourself :-)

If I would like to buy thorugh Cisco what is the part number of that particular card??

TIA,
