We are using unity 4.0(3) and are migrating over to Unity Connections 8.0.
I need to export the users, users greetings etc. I have read that to do that, you would use COBRA and also need to be on min version 4.0(5)
How much work needs to be done to upgrade to 4.0(5). We are using an unified environment with failover and I do not want to jeopardise whats currently installed.
looking on "software downloads" for the upgrade there are over 20 CD's. It just seems like it is going to be a large scale project just to go to 4.0(5)
has anyone done this before?

I upgraded from 4.1 to 5.x, it was not that hard, just alot of disc swaps. The upgrade is on the fly.

Hello,
One of the main things that helps is to be sure to download and run the latest DBWalker on your 4.0.3 system. This will point out any issues that should be corrected before the upgrade: http://ciscounitytools.com/Applications/Unity/dbWalker/dbWalker.html
Also a large majority of customers only need CD 1 and 3 of the Unity application CDs as well as the Service Pack CDs.
Most of the other CDs are only needed if other languages are being loaded.
The release note link below goes into what the other CDs contain.

Thanks,
Scott
