Unity 4.04 Recording Codec

I have a need to have my 4.04 record in a codec that is compatible with both the Palm and and IPAQ - currently I am recording in a codec that is compatible with the IPAQ handheld so users with that platform can hear voice messages stored in their exchange email. I now have Palm Treo users that cannot listen to those messages because their system says the wav file is not compatible. What codec should I use to record my voice messages? Any suggestions will be helpful.

Folks have had the best luck cross platorm with GSM 6.10 - have you tried this? What codec are you using now that works with the IPAQ units?

I am running GSM 6.10 - the new Palm Treo 650 doesn't like it - we have a few administrators running this phone and it will not work. The IPAQ and Dell AXIM users all work with GSM 6.10. Any other suggestions?
